WJCS’ multidisciplinary team of social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, care managers, peer counselors, and employment specialists are committed to improving the emotional and physical health of Westchester residents, offering individual therapy, family treatment, group therapy, and wellness programming to help people of all ages and backgrounds to improve daily functionating, develop effective coping skills, and achieve mutually-agreed upon goals. WJCS Clinical Services

♥︎ WJCS Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) offer cutting-edge, research-proven behavioral health treatment to adults, children, and families to address a wide range of challenges, from adjustment struggles to more complex psychological disorders and co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges, including depression, anxiety, co-occurring mental health and substance use, and other mental health issues, loss of a loved one, and the behavioral health needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Co-located Services

♥︎ School-based Clinics provide comprehensive behavioral health services to children and their families in Elmsford, Mt. Vernon, Peekskill, Rye, and Yonkers to improve educational, social, and emotional outcomes for children.

♥︎ Behavioral Health and Pediatric Primary Care Services allows WJCS clinicians to work on-site with pediatric health care providers at Sun River Health Care in Yonkers.

♥︎ Yonkers DSS Satellite Clinic provides services for individuals referred by Yonkers Department of Social Services staff.

Specialized Clinical Services

♥︎ WJCS Trager Lemp Center: Treating Trauma & Promoting Resilience provides evidence-based treatment, and community education to help child and adult survivors heal from the traumatic impact of physical and emotional abuse and other forms of violence.

♥︎ Victim Services The Crime Victims Advocacy & Support Services Program (CVASSP) provides crime victims and survivors assistance with supportive services, giving them the tools they need to make informed decisions.

♥︎ Children’s Intensive Mobile Mental Health Services offer case management and mental health treatment for youth with serious emotional and behavioral concerns. Services are offered in their homes and community settings in Yonkers and Mt. Vernon.

♥︎ Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) is part of Westchester County’s Project Alliance initiative. These crisis intervention and stabilization services are provided in collaboration with the Peekskill, Cortlandt, Croton, Buchanan, and Yorktown police departments.

♥︎ OnTrackNY is an innovative, evidence-based team approach to providing recovery-oriented Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) treatment that helps young adults aged 16 to 30 who have recently begun experiencing psychotic symptoms to achieve their goals for school, work, and WJCS’ multi-disciplinary team of social relationships.

♥︎ Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) offers a specialized treatment modality designed to help people manage challenging and life-threatening emotional and behavioral issues.

♥︎ Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment provides specialized clinical services for substance-involved individuals and their loved ones. Services include individual and family therapy, medication-assisted treatment for psychiatric and substance use disorders, as well as comprehensive overdose prevention training and supply distribution.

♥︎ Clinical Services for People with Disabilities address the particular issues facing individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism.

♥︎ Care Coordination Supports include peer support, care management, and employment and educational support services, providing integrated whole person care to promote recovery and wellness.

♥︎ Recovery Supports provide social and recreational activities and volunteer supportive friendships and mentorships for individuals struggling with and recovering from mental health and/or substance use challenges.

♥︎ Fire Safety Educational Services offers education services about fire-safety and assesses children at-risk of juvenile fire setting.

♥︎ Testing, Assessment, and Evaluation are provided for children and adults with learning disabilities. Services include the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).

Other Mental Health Services

♥︎ Mental Health First Aid evidence-based training for youth, teens, and adults to educate parents, teachers, coaches, camp staff, teens, first responders, case management workers, and others about how to recognize mental illness and get the appropriate help.

♥︎ COMPEER, a volunteer program to support individuals with significant mental health challenges.

♥︎ VIP (Volunteer Internship Program), a volunteer experience for adults recovering from mental illness.
