Mobile Crisis & Response Team (MCRT)

Our crisis management services through the WJCS Mobile Crisis & Response Team (MCRT) provide engagement, symptom reduction, and stabilization to individuals in any stage of mental health crisis.

Mobile Crisis & Response Team services include:

  • Crisis intervention services, supporting those in any stage of psychiatric crisis to stabilize through either in-person or telehealth services
  • Crisis stabilization services to facilitate de-escalation and resolution
  • Assisting individuals to use community, formal and informal family/support systems with the intent of preventing the reoccurrence of similar crisis events in the future
  • Services for substance use-related crisis, including connecting clients to ambulatory and medical detoxification services when needed, including Narcan administration

MRCT is part of Westchester County’s Project Alliance initiative. The services are provided in collaboration with the Peekskill, Cortlandt, Croton, Buchanan, and Yorktown police departments.
