Help make the holidays brighter for 700 children and youth from under-resourced communities in Westchester! The Annual WJCS Have A Heart for the Holidays Gift Drive collects and distributes gifts to children ages 0-18 who are enrolled in our programs and services.
You can bring joy to a child and ease the stress of the holidays for families by making a donation to the gift drive or organizing a pop-up collection with your friends, family, or co-workers.
WHAT IS NEEDED MOST:

Gifts for teenagers – ages 12-18. Ideas include $25 gift cards to Target, Dunkin’, Sephora, Ulta, Five Below, Barnes & Noble, or art supplies, crochet or craft kits, teen room décor, trendy accessories, speakers, headphones, phone accessories, jewelry, cologne, makeup, self-care products, hoodies, stuffies, blankets, Legos, sports equipment.

Gifts for preschoolers – ages 3-5. Ideas include pretend-play toys, trucks, play food and kitchen sets, animal toys, toddler puzzles, toddler bilingual books, playdoh sets, Magna-tiles, Duplo Legos, blocks. Gender neutral toys and activities that children can play with on their own are most useful for busy parents.
*All gifts must be new, in the original boxes, and unwrapped. Our deadline for receiving donations is December 1-4, 2025.
