In just a few months, more than 800 children in WJCS programs will walk into classrooms across Westchester. For many of their families, the rising cost of essentials — clothing, shoes, food, hygiene items, and school supplies — makes back‑to‑school season a time of stress rather than excitement. You can change that. Last year, community support allowed us to provide $50 gift cards to every teen, and backpacks for all children ages 5–11.
