WJCS 2026 Family Service Day Event: Hygiene Kit Drive
WJCS was proud to host a Family Service Day on Monday, October 12, in observance of Columbus/Indigenous Peoples’ Day, at Headquarters in White Plains, bringing together approximately 80 children and parents for a meaningful day of service and community. Led by WJCS Volunteer and Event Coordinator Marci Allen, volunteers assembled more than 80 hygiene kits for local adolescents served through our 11 School-Based Mental Health Clinics in Westchester. These kits were filled with basic necessities, including deodorant, soap, shampoo, and dental products, so students can feel confident, cared for, and ready to succeed in school.
