In just a few months, more than 800 children in WJCS programs will walk into classrooms across Westchester. For many of their families, the rising cost of essentials — clothing, shoes, food, hygiene items, and school supplies — makes back‑to‑school season a time of stress rather than excitement. You can change that.
Last year, community support allowed us to provide $50 gift cards to every teen, and backpacks for all children ages 5–11. This year, more families than ever are turning to WJCS for support. With a goal of raising $30,000, we hope to provide every one of the 800 children we serve with the resources they need. Your support will ensure that they walk into the new school year feeling prepared and confident.
