Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester county, is proud to announce that Dean Howell, Managing Director at Deloitte, has joined its Board of Directors. Mr. Howell has worked at Deloitte since 2016 and focuses on helping Higher Education and Government clients transform in a digital, cloud-enabled world.

Previously, Mr. Howell worked at IBM, AT&T, and Oracle in a variety of technical solution engineering roles. He has worked with Westchester and NYC high school students, mentoring and inspiring their interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) while promoting the importance of higher education in their future.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dean Howell to the WJCS Board. He brings a lifelong commitment to strengthening the non-profit community and improving the lives of Westchester residents,” said WJCS CEO Seth Diamond. “His outstanding professional experience will make him a  valuable contributor to our Board and agency.”

“I am very excited about working closely with my colleagues on the WJCS Board,” said Mr. Howell. “As a Yonkers resident for 45+ years, seeing the impact and work WJCS does in my community inspired me to action.  For almost 80 years, WJCS programs and services have been impacting the lives of individuals who are struggling in Westchester. I am excited about contributing to the continued fulfillment and expansion of its mission.”

Mr. Howell earned his MBA and B.S. Degrees from Manhattan College and lives in Yonkers, NY with his wife Jennifer Howell and their son Davis Jackson Howell.
