At WJCS, our power is our people. Diversity is at the core of our culture. Each of our colleagues brings a unique set of experiences, beliefs, abilities, and perspectives. We aim to reflect the diversity of the communities we serve and work together in collaboration and respect to meet the needs of our clients and staff so that everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

WJCS quarterly and annual Staff Awards celebrate the achievements of employees who have made significant strides in advancing our work. Our Undoing Racism Committee and Affinity Groups provide forums for discussion and education about combating racism, unconscious bias, and social justice difference.

Continuing education is a key priority. WJCS offers Trauma Sensitivity Trainings, Mental Health First Aid Trainings, Anti-Racism Trainings, Classes in Self-Care and Nutrition to employees as well as CEU-accredited that enable licensed social workers and psychologists to maintain their certifications.
