Liane Nelson, Ph.D., is the Chief Psychologist and Director of the WJCS Trager-Lemp Center for Treating Trauma and Promoting Resilience. She has led efforts at WJCS to become a trauma-informed agency, and is a member and former co-chair of the Westchester County Trauma Committee, the Multidisciplinary Team in Westchester, the Child Advocacy Center steering committee, and consults with Safe Spaces, the Domestic Violence Council, and public and independent schools.  In recent years, she has presented on Trauma- Informed Supervision, Racial Trauma, Vicarious Trauma, Caring for Staff during the Pandemic, the Common Factors of Trauma Treatments, Dissociation, and other trauma-related topics.
