The mission of Amazing Afternoons is to provide children and their families with growth-enhancing opportunities, including intensive after school activities, experiences, and wrap-around services that promote academic, personal, and social/emotional development, and provide access to mental health support services geared towards building resilience.
Program Goal
The goal of the Amazing Afternoons After-School Program is to provide a safe space where adolescent youth can feel nurtured, supported, empowered, and encouraged to try new skills that will equip them for college and beyond.
Program Summary
The Amazing Afternoons After-School Program is an academic and activity-based enrichment program provided by Westchester Jewish Community Services in partnership with the Elmsford Union Free School District. The program is hosted at the Alexander Hamilton High School in Elmsford, NY.
