Thank you for your interest in becoming a WJCS volunteer! By volunteering, you are making our community stronger. The gift of your time helps WJCS meet our goal of helping people of all ages and backgrounds who are struggling in Westchester. Our mission is critical, and we need you on our team.

We are currently recruiting for the following opportunities:

  • COMPEER: One-on-one help for adults with mental health issues
  • Early Childhood Teaching Assistants in New Rochelle and Yonkers
  • Monthly Food Pantry in Yonkers
  • Social Group and Skill-Building Group Assistants for developmentally disabled adults in White Plains and Hartsdale
  • Reading Buddies for elementary school children in various districts

The application process may include a phone interview, site visit, signing forms, and a background check, depending on the position.
