TAKE THIRTY-FIVE--a 35-minute workshop for weary moms, dads and grandparents, movement-needy kids and everyone else who may be interested in taking a half-hour break to re-energize, re-balance and release tensions. Symptoms of one disorder are often mistaken for the other. Treatment of individuals who present with co-occurring mental health and substance use issues can present a myriad of challenges for providers. We will be deep-diving each chapter of Estelle Frankel’s book The Wisdom of Not Knowing: Discovering a Life of Wonder by Embracing Uncertainty, exploring themes such as curiosity, silence, creativity, intuition, and courage through Frankel’s insightful reflections on religion, psychoanalytic theory, literature, philosophy, and modern science.
