As the school year winds down, WJCS is already looking ahead to September — and to the many families in our community who will face the overwhelming challenge of preparing their children for the new school year. With the cost of living rising and financial pressures mounting for so many, the burden of back-to-school shopping has become more than just stressful — it’s simply out of reach.

You can help children in under-resourced Westchester communities start the new school year strong!

Last year, thanks to generous supporters like you, we provided hundreds of students with essential supplies. This year, the need is even greater — and with your help, we can meet it.

Your donation will help us provide new backpacks, notebooks, crayons, and more to children who would otherwise go without. But even more than that, you’re helping these children walk into school feeling confident, cared for, and ready to learn.

Support our WJCS 2025 Back-to-School Drive and provide children, youth, and families with the tools they need to succeed. Children aged 5-11 will receive a new backpack filled with supplies. Youth aged 12-18 will receive a $50 gift card to buy the items they need most for their school year.

Thank you for standing with our families — and for being a part of the support system that helps our children thrive.

The deadline for donations and backpack drop-off is August 6.
