Under the general supervision of the Clinic Director, the Clinician/Social Worker will provide mental health services to persons in the community having psychiatric diagnosis and requiring services offered by a licensed mental health facility. Other responsibilities include providing comprehensive clinical services, including assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment to clients of all ages in a dynamic Family Mental Health clinic setting. Opportunity to work in varied treatment modalities with clients of all ages with a broad range of emotional, social and behavioral issues. On-going clinical supervision and training in the WJCS Educational Institute

New York State licensure or New York State license-eligibility (LMFT, LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW) is required. Familiarity and experience with evidenced-based treatments, knowledge of modern principles of social work, prior experience with children, community mental health, and/or co-occurring disorders. Bilingual English-Spanish a plus, (required for Peekskill location). Demonstrated expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT); experience in trauma-focused CBT a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals.
