WJCS is currently searching for a full-time, 35 hours per week, Accounts Receivables Supervisor to work in our headquarters office in White Plains, NY.  Under the general supervision of the Revenue Accounting Manager, the Accounts Receivables Supervisor is responsible for planning and implementing all activity related to the overall billing process as well as billing, reviewing, and collections for the agency.

Other responsibilities include supervision of billing, editing, transmitting, and verifying all claims; ensure journal entries and account reconciliation is done accurately and in a timely manner; identify variances in financial reporting and propose corrective actions; supervise and perform all necessary support functions as required to meet departmental delinquency and past due collection goals.

The ideal candidate must have knowledge of Medicaid, Commercial and Managed Care billing/collections process; must be able to use spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel and Word; and must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and to relate well with supervisors, program officials, employees and others.  Associates degree in Accounting or Business Administration and three years of experience required.  Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
