April is Social Workers Month!

At WJCS, we are so grateful for the hard work, dedication, and expert skills that our social workers demonstrate every day in order to help our clients, of all ages and backgrounds, overcome significant life problems. Poet and civil rights activist Maya Angelou wrote: “You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.

Our social workers help clients face challenges and even defeats so they can rise above them with strength, resilience, and purpose. We are all indebted and grateful for your stellar work.
