Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is delighted to share that our agency has been named Best-in-Class Employer by Gallagher. Scott Bojer, Area Vice President at Gallagher, visited WJCS Headquarters in North White Plains and presented the award to WJCS CEO Seth Diamond and WJCS Human Resources Director Milagros Rivera. “This Best-in-Class designation is a reflection of our agency’s unwavering commitment to creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered,” said Diamond. “At WJCS, we believe that our ability to make a difference in our community starts with how we support and invest in our own employees.”
Organizations are eligible for a Best-in-Class designation when they complete Gallagher’s Benefits Strategy & Benchmarking Survey. With 4,000+ respondents it is one of the largest surveys of its type. Based on data from this research, the Best-in-Class Benchmarking Analysis shifts the focus away from “average” to what it means to be the best. According to Gallagher’s survey, WJCS stood out among other employers in the following categories:
- Planning horizons for benefits and compensation strategies
- Extent of the well-being strategy
- Turnover rate for fulltime employees
- Completion of a workforce engagement survey
- Use of HR technology strategy and its level of sophistication
- Difference in healthcare costs over the prior year
