WJCS, one of Westchester’s largest mental health and human services nonprofit agencies, is proud to have been selected as a 2026 Top Place to Work by City and State NY for the second year in a row! This recognition highlights organizations in New York’s government, nonprofit, policy and business communities that have created especially strong places to work.

This honor was limited to 40 organizations in New York State across nonprofit, for-profit, and government agencies which are ahead of the curve in sustaining healthy, supportive, collaborative, and mission-committed cultures.

WJCS was selected for investing deeply in staff growth and leadership development through annual leadership development opportunities, including management training, an off-site leadership summit and sponsorship of external programs for rising leaders. Additionally, our commitment to  supporting employee wellbeing through our new wellness reimbursement program earned us this special recognition.

A great workplace is built through supportive colleagues, opportunities to grow and connect, and a shared commitment to a meaningful mission. Being recognized once was gratifying. Receiving this honor for a second consecutive year is an especially meaningful affirmation of who we are and what we continue to build together.
