As the largest provider of licensed outpatient mental health services in Westchester County and a pioneer and leader in treating trauma since 1982, WJCS is also wholly committed to being a trauma-informed agency. We recognize the impact of trauma on adults, families, and youth as well as the effects of secondary trauma on staff.

In this video, Michael Orth, Commissioner of Westchester County, Department of Community Mental Health, shares why he believes trauma informed care is so important.
