Happy Presidentís Day!
President’s Day is a celebration of leadership and, at WJCS, we are so fortunate to have excellent leadership—both in our organization as well as through the involvement of our Board.
Neil Sandler and Roy Stillman, our honorees at the WJCS 2019 Gala on April 2nd, exemplify stellar leadership.
Neil is a Board member of UJA Federation New York and for the past three years has served as President of the WJCS Board. He guided the organization through the recruitment of our new CEO Seth Diamond. He is passionate about the WJCS mission and has served in various roles within WJCS, including Treasurer and active member of the Audit, Budget & Finance, Compensation, and Investment Committees.
Roy has served on the WJCS Board of Directors for over ten years. He lends his expertise to a multitude of WJCS Board committees, including the Budget & Finance, Government Relations, Headquarters Infrastructure, Information Technology, and Nominating committees. Roy generously donated space to one of our WJCS programs for a decade and helped us secure space for the POINT Vocational and Educational Center at the Taft Community Room. He has employed participants from our POINT program, which serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Both Neil and Roy continue to support WJCS’s mission of providing care to people of all ages and diverse backgrounds who are facing significant challenges in Westchester County.
We hope you’ll join us to honor Neil and Roy and support the work WJCS does throughout Westchester County at the WJCS 2019 Gala. It will take place on April 2 at the Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase. It will be a fabulous evening filled with heartwarming stories shared by some of our clients and, of course, great food and company.
Please take a look at our video from last year’s bash for a taste of what you can expect. We hope to see you there!
