Partners in Caring
On-site counseling, educational and informational programming in Jewish institutions countywide
With funding from UJA-Federation of New York and participation by member synagogues and organizations, PARTNERS IN CARING provides a broad range of support groups, one-on-one counseling, and educational programs to meet the needs of congregants, members and staff at synagogues, JCC's and day schools throughout the county.
Connections are made to WJCS services and community resources. Staff consults with rabbis, community organizations and local resources and to provide comprehensive assistance to individuals, families and staff members at participating institutions.
Opportunities for pre-Bar and Bat Mitzvah youth and teens to engage in community service experiences are provided under the Operation Mitzvah program.
