Wherever young people and families need mental health, educational and social supports

WJCS services are offered in the home, in convenient community locations and in WJCS clinic sites to assist families when children and adolescents are in need of mental health, educational, social or juvenile justice supports. 


AUTISM SERVICES & THE AUTISM FAMILY CENTER -  resources and supports for families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders 

CENTER LANE - a vibrant community center with supportive services, social and recreational activities for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and questioning adolescents (LGBTQ)

CHILD & FAMILY CLINIC PLUS, screening and assessment for young children entering the school system 

CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE TREATMENT PROGRAM, helping children and their famililes deal with the problems of incest and child sexual abuse

COURT ASSESSMENT PROGRAM providing evaluations for legal system determinations 

EARLY STEP FORWARD - BUILDING BETTER BEGINNINGS, an early childhood/mental health program supporting social, emotional and behavioral wellness for young children and their families

FAMILY ADVOCACY, helping youth with developmental disabilities to transition to adult services

FAMILY MATTERS & FAMILY MATTERS CASE MANAGEMENT/SAFETY NET AND FAMILY MATTERS WAIVER PROGRAM - intensive supports for seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents and their families 

JUVENILE FIRE INTERVENTION PROGRAM providing fire-safety education and assessment related to children at-risk of fire-setting

The HARRY & JEANNETTE WEINBERG LEARNING CENTER, offering learning assessments, remediation and supports 

The MARY J. BLIGE CENTER FOR WOMEN, offering academic, personal and parenting supports for pregnant and parenting young women and youth development workshops for girls grades 7-12. 

PARENT CHILD HOME PROGRAM early learning and parenting programs including

  • CLINIC SERVICES - services in clinics and community based settings that help children and
    families address mental health, behavioral and emotional issues. Specialty services include
    Programs of the Treatment Center for Trauma and Abuse:
         •Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Center, assisting children affected by sexual violence
         •Juveniles Starting Over (formerly the Juvenile Sexual Offender Treatment Program).
  • Child & Family Clinics Plus - a statewide initiative to identify early behavioral and emotional issues for pre-schoolers
  • FAMILY MATTERS / FAMILY MATTERS CASE MANAGEMENT / FAMILY MATTERS WAIVER / SAFETY NET-intensive mobile services for at-risk youth with serious emotional and behavioral issues
  • EARLY STEP FORWARD - BUILDING BETTER BEGINNINGS, an early childhood, mental health project in Yonkers and Mt. Vernon providing on-site and in-home mental health and related supports and early intervention services for children from infancy through age 4 who are attending eligible Head Start or early childhood programs.

JUVENILE JUSTICE SERVICES  working with the judicial system to reduce problematic behaviors and create positive alternatives for young people            

LINKAGES (New Rochelle Juvenile Justice Program) serving youth in New Rochelle, Mt. Vernon and Pelham   

JUVENILES STARTING OVER (formerly the Juvenile Sexual Offender Treatment Program)
