Center for Women's Issues
Workshops that empower and educate women
The mission of the CENTER FOR WOMEN'S ISSUES is to empower the diverse population of women in Westchester through a broad range of programs and services addressing their needs and concerns. The Center was initiated in 1997 with support throughout the years from the Westchester Community Foundation, Eileen Fisher, Inc., the Junior League of Central Westchester and the Westchester Fund for Women and Girls.
Spring and Fall workshops are offered, encompassing a wide range of topics related to women at various life stages.
WOMEN-HELPING-WOMEN (W-H-W), initiated in January 2010, has been funded by the Leir Charitable Foundations to reach out to and provide encouragement, information, resources and services through workshops for women of diverse backgrounds who are unemployed or seeking transition to other jobs.
