ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - Children, Youth and Family Services

WJCS is currently searching for a full-time, Assistant Executive Director for Children, Youth and Family Services. The Assistant Executive Director Children, Youth and Family Services, provides leadership, administrative management and direction of a division comprised of ten community - and school-based programs. This is an executive position that reports to the Chief Program Officer.

The Assistant Executive Director supervises and provides direction to several Program Directors to ensure that the directors are fulfilling program responsibilities in directing and administering their programs' goals and objectives. The Assistant Executive Director monitors funding sources and ensure that contract deliverables, staffing patterns, budgets, activities, and outcomes are aligned.

The ideal candidate must, at a minimum, have a strong knowledge of community mental health and preventive services for children and families; knowledge of government policies and procedures as they relate to community based programs that are government funded; and budgeting, proposal and program development skills.

Minimum education requirement is a Masters level degree in Social Work or a related field or Ph.D. in Psychology or related field coupled with seven years or more experience as an administrator in a related field.
