Director of Facilities Management

WJCS is currently seeking a full time Director of Facilities Management to work in White Plains, NY. Under the general supervision of the Executive Director/CEO, the Director of Facilities Management directs, manages and coordinates those aspects of facilities that relate to leases, building, equipment; and property maintenance for a headquarters building, four free standing behavioral health clinics and fourteen service sites in Westchester County.

 

The selected person must have experience in facilities management; knowledge of architecture, building requirements, contract management; and some knowledge of commercial real estate. Responsibilities include soliciting bids for budgeted requirements, negotiating terms of purchase contracts and leases, monitoring repairs of equipment, developing scope of work for projects, contracting vendors, and inventory maintenance of space and equipment.   Minimum seven years of administrative supervisory experience. Experience working with budgets.  Must be computer literate (MS Office). Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized college or university. Incumbent serves as chairperson of the Safety Committee.
