WJCS is currently searching for a full-time, 35 hours per week HR Coordinator to work in our Headquarters office in White Plains, NY. Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Director, the incumbent provides administrative support to the office of Human Resources. Some of the responsibilities include originating, maintaining and updating personnel files; handling inquiries for employment verifications and references; coordinating new employee orientation; processing background checks; maintaining performance management program; maintaining training database; and assisting employees.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years’ experience in an office environment preferably in an HR Department; must be computer literate, specifically with MS WORD and Excel. MS Outlook knowledge a plus. College degree desirable, minimum 2 years Associates Degree. Must be familiar with HRIS systems.
