WJCS is currently seeking a part time 28 hours/week program Coordinator, to work as a part of our Holocaust Survivors Program. Under the general supervision of the Director of Mental Health Recovery Services, the Coordinator will provide the day to day management of the Holocaust Survivors Program.  

In this position the selected candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and reporting budgets, and providing other program/grant statistical information as required by the funding agency.  The coordinator is also responsible for approving home health hours and invoices, and insuring that each client’s file is accurate and up to date with all required forms and documentation.   The coordinator will also provide outreach, and case management to individuals and families of Holocaust Survivors in Westchester County;   and assist Holocaust survivors fill out and submit paper work for other available benefits.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree; or a Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field; competent in creating excel spreadsheets, basic algebraic math knowledge, and budgeting.  A valid NY State Driver’s License and be comfortable making home visits. Knowledge of issues relating to trauma and past experience working with adults and families preferred.
