Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

A specialized treatment modality offered at the four mental health clinics, DBT is an evidence-based treatment, that has been shown to be effective at helping individuals reduce and cope with intense emotions and difficult-to-manage behaviors. The goal of DBT is to create a life worth living. DBT can help with: regulating intense, painful emotions; controlling life-threatening and life-interfering behaviors; managing difficult interpersonal relationships, and fostering more life balance.

Comprehensive DBT treatment as well as DBT skills groups for adults, adolescents and families are offered.
