Helping pregnant and parenting teens complete high school and develop parenting skills

YOUNG PARENTS ACHIEVE!/YCL and the SCHOOL BASED ADOLESCENT PARENTING PROGRAM are comprehensive case management programs for pregnant and parenting teens that support high school graduation or GED completion and avoidance of second pregnancy.  The program operates in the White Plains, Sleepy Hollow, Ossining and Lakeland school districts and Sound Shore Hospital, New Rochelle.  Individual, family and group counseling is offered to participants.

YPA! has been honored with the 2010 Westchester County Department of Health Distinguished Public Health Service Award for its dedication and commitment to improving the health and well-being of teen mothers and their children.

The LATINO PEER EDUCATION PROJECT engages young people to provide Spanish-speaking support and educational workshops to Latino families about pregnancy prevention, domestic violence awareness and substance abuse prevention.

Services are provided in both English and Spanish.
