VoiceCare utilizes a personal emergency response device connected to the telephone system, a necklace-type activator pendant and round-the-clock monitoring to help frail elderly or medically compromised individuals remain safely in their homes. Through voice contact with the VoiceCare client, experienced operators assess the nature of the emergency and complete notification of the predetermined responders based on client response and needs. All emergency response activations are followed up by the VoiceCare coordinator to assure that the response was adequate and determine if additional services are needed by the client.
