Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Program
The Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Program is a component of the WJCS Trager Lemp Center: Treating Trauma and Promoting Resilience. The center utilizes research-proven treatment and services to help survivors heal from the trauma of abuse, violence and other adverse life experiences. Center programs and activities also are designed to prevent violence and aggression by adults and children.
The Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Program uses a comprehensive team approach, along with research and evidence-based treatment, to help children heal from the trauma of sexual abuse and other forms of interpersonal violence. Individual, family and group counseling is offered to child victims and non-offending parents. Services are provided at WJCS clinic locations in Hartsdale, Mt. Vernon, Yonkers and Peekskill by WJCS clinicians specializing in the area of trauma.
Through presentations, consultations, leadership and consultations on government task forces and committees, highly skilled WJCS experts educate Westchester professionals and the general public about the importance of recognizing, preventing and treating child sexual abuse.
