Project Lifesaver
PROJECT LIFESAVER is a program designed to help individuals affected with autism and other developmental disabilities who may wander or get lost and are looking for an extra layer of security. In partnership with Westchester County Departments of Community Mental Health and Public Safety, this program offers locater bracelets similar to those used with people who are diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. PROJECT LIFESAVER uses state-of-the-art technology, with registered wristband transmitters, to locate wandering and lost children and adults.
