Opportunities for teens and families to engage in Jewish community service experiences
OPERATION MITZVAH provides Westchester pre-Bar/Bat Mitzvah children and/or family members wit
h a substantive community service/mitzvot project that teaches the importance of community service, its connection to the mitzvot in the Torah, and its relationship to becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
Older teens and adults can also connect with opportunities for community service, leadership development and learning of Jewish values as part of PARTNERS IN CARING, which provides on-site services in Jewish institutions county-wide.
