Miracle League Baseball Program for Children on the Autism Spectrum

In partnership with the Miracle League of Westchester, WJCS sponsors baseball teams for children ages 5-12 who are on the autism spectrum.  Players are assigned "Buddies" to guide them through the game and ensure fun and success.  Buddies and coaches are trained to understand autism spectrum disorders. 

Games are played in the Spring and Fall at the "Miracle Field" in Hartsdale.  This collaboration has been made possible by the Sports for Youth Fund of UJA-Federation of New York.
