Geriatric Mental Health Treatment
Through this program, older individuals (minimum age 55) and their families receive a wide array of mental health services, comprising individual, marital, family and group psychotherapy, psychiatric consultation, medication monitoring and case management. Experienced social workers help clients cope with issues related to growing older in our society, including maintaining independence in the face of loss and changing family structure, retirement, physical illness or disability, isolation from family and friends, and continuing responsibility for dependent adult children, grandchildren, ill spouses or elderly parents.
