Home Health Services (HHS) of WJCS is an accredited, New York State Licensed Home Care Service Agency that provides a wide-range of services to people in their places of residence in Westchester County and the Bronx.
Personal Care Aides and Certified Home Health Care Aides, under the supervision of Registered Nurses, provide Personal Care Services to individuals who are unable to perform personal care services including (but are not limited to): bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation assistance, transferring, toileting, meal planning, feeding, cooking, marketing, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, light housekeeping, assistance negotiating the community and socialization. The primary focus of the program is to maintain community living in a manner that is safe and preserves the dignity of the client and family. COMPANION SERVICES
COMPANION SERVICES are available for persons with special needs who are residing in various congregate settings, i.e., nursing homes, hospitals and adult homes. The Companion aide provides supervision and socialization as an adjunct to regular facility services and provides peace of mind for families concerned for their loved ones when they are unavailable.

GRAMATAN VILLAGE
WJCS is a key community partner in the innovative Gramatan Village, Inc. project in
the greater Bronxville area. Based on the pioneering Beacon Hill Village in Boston,
Gramatan Village gives residents in the area access to services that will allow them to
remain safely and confidently in their homes as they age. Learn more
PROJECT TIME-OUT
Project Time-Out has provided in-home respite services to Westchester families
caring for either a dependent older person or a child who is mentally retarded or
developmentally disabled since 1982. Respite allows the caregivers the opportunity to
attend to medical appointments, social and recreational activities or business
matters, while providing stimulating companionship, supervision and socialization to the
