Holocaust Survivors & 2nd -3rd Generation Groups
Helping survivors and their families deal with the past and cope with the present
Sensitive to the particular issues of Holocaust survivors, their children and grandchildren, WJCS offers groups that meet regularly under the guidance of a skilled professional to help people share memories, sort out events of the past, find inner peace and deal with the reactivation of old fears created by current events.
The Second Generation Group deals with issues centered around separation and over-protectiveness. Recent efforts have been focused on reaching the Third Generation and responding to issues of aging, debilitating health and retirement of survivors. Large county-wide meetings and presentations at high schools provide community education.
