Increasing Opportunities for People with Developmental Disabilities.

Community Programs of WJCS aims to deliver, encourage, and expand Employment & Community Engagement opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.

Increasing opportunity for employment through skills training.

At Community Programs of WJCS we use an exploratory discovery model to determine through in-depth examination; the skills, the abilities and the preferences of a person seeking meaningful work. Our Customized Supported Employment journey includes creative learning experiences and practices with an emphasis on soft skills training, which can increase the opportunity for job readiness exposure and employment. We match the skills, abilities and areas of interest of a job seeker, with the needs specified by an employer.
