The WJCS psychology department offers a doctoral internship program for students working toward a Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree in clinical, school or counseling psychology. The internship is accredited by the American Psychological Association and consists of four full-time (one-year) positions.

Each fellow is usually based at a WJCS family mental health clinic or other outpatient setting, as well as at least two rotational placements in such programs as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, forensics assessment, trauma and abuse, juvenile sex offenders and autism diagnostic evaluation. Fellows are expected to meet WJCS’ evidence-based therapy, testing, research, supervision and teaching requirements.
