In conjunction with Child Protective Services, Child Abuse Pediatrics, the District Attorney’s Office, the County Attorney’s Office, and Victim Assistance Services, WJCS’ Trager Lemp Center for Treating Trauma and Promoting Resilience is the primary mental health partner with the Child Advocacy Center. The WJCS Trager Lemp Center receives mental health referrals for children seen at the Child Advocacy Center when there are allegations of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse.
