How can I be sure that my child will be safe at Center Lane?

Center Lane is committed to providing a safe space for youth to socialize and learn together. Services and activities are always supervised or chaperoned by at least two adults, one Certified Social Worker and one volunteer.

Confidentiality of youth that come to the center is a top priority. For that reason, observance of confidentiality is to be respected by all youth that participate in the programs.

Center Lane is held at the Loft Community Center in White Plains, NY, a center for the gay community of Westchester County. The Loft has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY regarding harassment or threatening behavior of any type. If someone violates the policy, the person will be asked to leave.
